These are the steps that need to be taken to ensure Tableside Order & Pay is properly implemented and that all menu items are syncing properly with Tableside Order & Pay, all orders are injected properly into Revel, and that we catch any misconfiguration before going live
Check and double-check the integration settings
Menu Sync
- Check to make sure that Modifier Groups are attached to specific Menu Items groups
- Check to make sure that Modifier Groups have pulled in the appropriate quantity limitations
- Check to make sure modifiers are connected to specific menu items
- Check to make sure that Allow Duplicate setting is selected on the modifiers that need to have it available.
- Make sure that all substitutions are priced appropriately (if cheddar cheese is preselected swiss cheese should not have a price in the same mod group) Make note of any of these price misconfigurations as they will need to be made in Revel.
- Review menu items on the ordering page to make sure that the items make sense.
- Place test orders on several items to make sure that orders are injected properly
- Disable the list of modifiers items that Mx does not want to show the CX
- Review all items on the menu page to make sure all designated modifiers have been disabled
Testing item routing and ticket display
- Create several test orders that contain items from every Menu Subgroup, and be sure that default modifiers are unselected
- Create test orders with different fulfillment methods to make sure that orders are injecting
- Check to make sure that all items are routed to the correct KDS stations and printers
- Check to make sure that all items are displaying correctly, with additions, substitutions, duplicate items, and that default items that were deselected have a “No” prefix
- Ensure that table numbers and guest info are displayed correctly on tickets
- Make sure that orders are injected into the correct Tableside Order & Pay Dining Options
- Ensure that the Tableside Order & Pay Dining Options are displaying with the correct color coding (Make note if not displaying correctly as this will need to be updated in Revel
