Part 1. Tableside Order & Pay Admin Employee
- From Toast home, search for Employee
- Navigate to Create New Employee (add+)
- Enter Tableside Order & Pay Admin
- Enter the email address bbot-tam@doordash.com
- Jobs - Select Admin or Owner
- Click Add
- Click on Admin
- Navigate to the top right-hand corner and click edit
- Click on the tab for Jobs and Permissions
- Scroll down to Permissions 4. Restaurant admin - click override and then the checkbox for all
- Do the same for 6. Web Set up - click override and then the checkbox for all
- On 8.4 enable Manage integrations
- If part of Restaurant Group or Food Hall, please use this guide for configuring additional steps needed to grant Admin access.
The owner does not need to grant backend access if they do not want. We recommend having a Tableside Order & Pay employee as the default employee to inject the orders into for tracking and sales reporting purposes.
Part 2. Tableside Order & Pay Dining Options
- From Toast home, search for Dining Option
- Add +
- Tableside Order & Pay Dine In - Dine In *this is necessary for the integration to connect
- Tableside Order & Pay Take Out - Take Out
- Tableside Order & Pay Delivery - Delivery
Part 3. Other Payment Type
- From Toast home, search for Other Payment Options
- Add +, Tableside Order & Pay
- All radio buttons selected as NO
Part 4. Revenue Center
- From Toast home, search for Revenue Center
- Add +, Tableside Order & Pay
Part 5. Discount
- From Toast home, search for Discounts and Promo Codes
- + Add a Discount, Tableside Order & Pay
- Open $ Off
- Entire Check
This step is not required, but it is very helpful for training purposes as well as to create any discounts in the future.
Part 6. Service Fee
- From Toast home, search for Service Charges
- Add +, Tableside Order & Pay
- Open Amount
- All radio buttons selected as NO
This step is not required, but if the merchant plans on using DoorDash Drive delivery or any other service fees, it is best practice to configure it from the start.
Part 7. Tableside Order & Pay Integration
- From Toast home, search for Browse & Purchase Integrations
- If there is a banner asking to subscribe now. The owner will need to confirm the purchase of Toast Partner Connect for $25 per month. This is a Toast Fee.
- Once subscribed or if the merchant is already subscribed to partner connect
- Search Tableside Order & Pay
- Click Add
- If the App does not show, click Manage Integrations to double-check it is already installed.
